Regarding the programs to open the schools in the summer to feed the children — are there not generous programs of food stamps and food banks and churches that provide food to those in need? Is the real problem that the poor don’t have enough food? Or is this just one more way to encourage able-bodied citizens to become dependent on the government?
What are we really teaching the children?
