Many people who say we must fight terrorism and defeat it are, of course, justified, but it seems like they all put their trust in the arms of the emperor. All empires and military powers, from the very first Babylonian one onward have fought terrorism, but terrorism is still alive and is, apparently, doing well today.
A nation that can’t even get rid of the Mafia and its own underworld – what chance does it have of fighting terrorism?
The big mistake that all of these powers have made is the apparent fact that military might cannot defeat terrorism, only replace it. It is interesting that all of the known founders of religions have pointed out that universal justice, understanding of the causes, and love are the only weapons that can defeat evil. But who is listening these days?
