Regarding the Friday article, “Army says its helicopters buzzed Port Angeles”: Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist — OK, maybe a little — but can you say “test run” to judge public reaction? Whoever heard of military maneuvers over a city? You have military maneuvers in an area similar to what you think you will encounter. Am I still a conspiracy theorist? Maybe we should be asking who ordered these maneuvers. After all, the military doesn’t just wake up one morning and decide to give orders to “just go fly somewhere — anywhere”. These missions are planned very meticulously in advance. Col. Hodges, just where did your orders come from? And what was the purpose of the mission?
