Is it just me, or have developers been spreading their greed among others? Remember back in the day where you could walk through a school hallway without being run down by a fast moving mob of teenagers? Or when houses out in the country at least had yards? I do, but will the next generation?
With the housing developments surrounding our quaint suburban areas ruining local wildlife, yards, greenery and school systems in general, what will it be like in 10 years? I am only 15 and already I can see the implications of overcrowding – our school systems are overrun and trees are going down even as I speak. Global warming and overcrowded school systems are affecting us on a daily basis; it may not seem like a big deal now but it will affect the future of our planet.
Developers have the power to slow down, and conserve not only our Earth but our society. Each day it seems as though I see a new development popping up somewhere. Now I have begun to shield my eyes from the depressing new housing signs, until I realized I couldn’t. If we all ignore the greasing of public officials what will our society come to? Bottom line is what happened to 5-acre housing laws, and class sizes of 20?
