How can the Department of Transportation think they are doing the citizens of Snohomish and King counties a service when they want to raise the carpool occupancy from two to three on I-405, and if you have $15 you can go into the carpool lane at high traffic times or any other time? Why is it if you have money or if the state thinks they can get it, they will try? The intent of the carpool lane was for the commuters that had two or more in their car.
The state spends millions on cameras and computers to milk the people of Snohomish and King counties. How can King County Transit all of a sudden find money to put the bus routes back on that they cut and still want the people to up the car tab fee $60 and raise the sales tax? What is with government that thinks this way? It’s not trying to curb all the waste in government, but how to get more and waste more. Are we all stupid? Ask your state representative.
