Where is the accountability?

As soon as this gas tax goes into effect, the construction on the Alaskan Way Viaduct and Highway 520 bridge should begin. But it won’t – there will be a bunch of mumbo jumbo and 10 years from now they will be asking for more money for the same thing.

I am sick of this state taxing us and nothing being done. It’s the same thing with the public schools – they are soaking millions of dollars out of people on the lottery and now the Seattle School District is shutting down a bunch of schools. Where is all our money going? I would sure like to know. This state should be audited on a monthly basis and be accountable for every penny they are taking from us.
