I am writing in response to the Dec. 6 letter, “Whites don’t protect their own culture,” by John Brandt. He says, “most whites seem ambivalent toward their race… We are steadily losing our culture, our country, and our race.”
He makes it sound like everyone white in complexion comes from the same background. I don’t know about others, but I have a lot of different cultures in me. For instance, I am Sicilian, Greek, Arab, Norman and Indian, to name a few. Almost every white-colored person I know is proud of their ancestry. Also, we all have different backgrounds. I may be 13, but I love all of my cultures.
