Who would protesters call if they were picketed?

I was just wondering how Kshama Sawant or any of the other left-wing politicians from Seattle would like it if a couple hundred well-armed right-wingers came to their houses and tried to intimidate them, all the while tagging and vandalizing everything in sight (“Seattle police chief’s Snohomish County home draws protesters,” The Herald, Aug. 4).

I would wager they would call the police they were trying to de-fund and cry like babies. I have had family member that lived down south that had the Ku Klux Klan visit them right after church to show them the error of their ways. It seems to me that neither the right-wingers or left-wingers are much for real democracy. They just seem like garden variety bullies to me.

One more thing I will say that our family has had union ironworker member in this area since well before World War I. We support the right to belong to a good union to everyone, including police. The first duty of a union is to support the members, good and bad.
