Since the gazebo at Clark Park is to be removed why install an off-leash dog park in its place? (“Everett to replace historic Clark Park gazebo with a new dog park,” The Herald, Jan. 29)
With all the emphasis on homeless people and affordable housing from the Everett City Council, why isn’t a multi-family housing unit or at the least, another one of those temporary pallet shelter villages being considered for that site?
I like gazebos and have had dogs for over 30 years so I have no problem with either use of the land, but I guess the council would rather not consider having a place for the homeless so near to downtown.
