Like the rest of the country, I am glued to the television. I am listening to many different points of view. I also listen to something that I cannot understand. If the FBI, CIA and all the other agencies knew exactly who to go after, why then were they all living comfortably in the U.S.? My point is this: If you already know that you have persons from other countries who could pose a threat to us, why are they allowed to live in the United States with their families? It seems like such a simple question, but no one seems to be addressing it. It is easy to blame the airport security system for everything. But, why hasn’t anyone asked these questions? These terrorists could have just as easily put bombs in many places in this country. They obviously were moving about freely. Does the U.S. government feel that if they lay the blame on the airports, they don’t have to take any responsibility for these acts?
How will tightening airport security really make us safer, if we continue to allow people we cannot trust to live in this country?
