Regarding the Nov. 16 front-page article titled, “Under Harry’s Spell”: I can’t see this weekday movie event as something to be celebrated. What is the message to the child about school when she is removed to see a trendy movie? More to the point, what is the message to the community about the importance of schooling when The Herald endorses skipping school with a front-page article and picture?
I’m wild about Harry, too, but your article is a disservice to children and those responsible for their education.
