The gentleman from Arlington in your Wednesday letters, “Obama’s ‘reset’ a complete failure,” (another Obama basher) has obviously kept up on the news but hasn’t listened to diplomatic experts that have been begging all along the question: why does Ukraine have to choose either side? It should have been earlier, and now should be a buffer between Russia and the West. Putin and Russia were threatened by our actions which were honestly threatening. We didn’t, as usual, care about the financial pillaging of Ukraine until they leaned toward Russia. Then the West forced the Ukraine to choose. Will we ever learn?
