Why does Trump hire illegal migrant workers?

It seems to me that, if the president really wanted to do something about illegal immigration he would start with making it hard for them to work. I read that the present system is voluntary for employers checking on the legal status of workers. I also read that Trump has many illegals working on his golf courses, hotels and resorts.

What 99 percent of the migrants want is work, and if it was harder to get here they just might look elsewhere. Another thing is the Great Wall is only going to cover half of our border with Mexico because of the Rio Grande river; why wouldn’t they just go around? Not to mention the whole Pacific and Gulf coasts.

I really don’t believe this president would ever really do anything to hurt the supply of cheap labor. In any case I would a lot rather see some of these road and bridges fixed or replace than spending borrowed money to build more fence here is our country.
