No arrests made by the Washington State Patrol when yahoos went to the home of the governor as they did not want to agitate the crowd (“Aggrieved Trump supporters rally in Everett and Olympia,” The Herald, Jan. 7).
My, oh, my. Next time you may be stopped for possible violation of a law; remind officers not to arrest you as you may become agitated. But if the folks were of color, you can darn bet your last dollar they would be handcuffed, shoved in the back of a patrol car and jailed. Or wait, just tell the officer you may become agitated. What works for one should work for the other. Right?
