I am disappointed in The Daily Herald and the coverage of the Olympics; in particular the list of medals by country. Canada, our nearest neighbor — less than two hours away by car, and a country where many of us living in the U.S. have friends and family — is rarely mentioned.
The list of medals by country each day, does not include Canada, and yet they have won 24 medals — seven gold, six silver and 11 bronze — at the games’ conclusion. For the first time in history the Canadian women’s soccer team has captured gold;no mention in the Herald. Seriously?
