Re: your Sept. 25 editorial, “County has much to lose if Initiative 912 passes.” You make no mention of the $1.1 billion the state auditor reported in the reserve fund a few weeks ago. Yes, $1.1 billion!
So, what you propose is we add more money to an already excessively over-taxed public, while the state sits on $1.1 billion waiting for a hurricane to hit Seattle?
