I am asking someone to tell me why the Census Bureau doesn’t use everyone’s tax return to get the population information from the public. Your tax return includes family demographics, ages, dependents, income information including employers name/address and family members’ Social Security numbers.
Why are we having another intrusion by the government for information they already have?
Remember, you have to file a tax return every year if you are a U.S. citizen, and whether or not you earned anything.
