I have noticed that every time there is inclement weather or a holiday, Waste Management doesn’t pick up my garbage. Rather than working some overtime to catch up back up like every other business does when they’re behind, I’m just stuck with my stinking garbage until the following week.
Do I get a prorated bill? No. So, what am I paying for? If I’m paying Waste Management to pick up my garbage once a week, I expect it to happen! If you can’t make it to my house on the day of my pickup because of weather or the holidays, you need to figure out a way to get it done before next week. I’m not paying for my garbage to be picked up when it’s convenient.
What recourse do customers have to curtail these abusive business practices?
