A recent letter writer seemed puzzled as to why a majoirty of Washington voters supported Democrats in may races. From my perspective the question should have been around when will Republicans provide suitable candidates for office?
In the past election we had several who were voters disqualified as being election deniers, not worthy of a vote from a thoughtful voter (including Republicans).
Of course, the subject of crime came up as a potential issue. This is a local issue; not a federal issue. Important if you are running for city council; where this issue of crime can be best addressed. On taxes; the prior president was responsible for largest tax increase in history with the beneficiaries being Top 1 percent. Then he brought up the “old America.” I have been living for a long time. Not certain what that references. All versions of America have flaws. To suggest otherwise is just foolish.
