Wilderness bill will protect treasures

We are so glad to hear that the Wild Sky Wilderness bill has unanimously passed the U.S. Senate. As long-time residents of the Sky Valley, we believe that this represents a giant step toward the preservation and protection of our rapidly disappearing natural local treasures.

This Wild Sky is a spiritual place and is one reason why many of us brought our families and located here. We all need to relate to our natural environment, and especially our children need to experience the wildness and beauty of nature just outside our door!

Let’s all encourage Rep. Jennifer Dunn to guide this very important legislation through the House of Representatives.
