The old war machine is rumbling again and I am filled with fear, sorrow and rage.
Where are our legislators? Why aren’t they putting up some resistance, asking what is the hurry, we need time to debate the situation? War is the last resort. Surely there are alternatives. There have been some good remarks coming out of the U.N.
Why does the Bush Administration seem to feel that we can afford a war but not domestic spending and that it is easier to make war than to try to solve our many problems at home?
A war is paid for out of our pockets, further reducing our standard of living. Is it worth it? Will we be free from terrorism? I think not.
