So, we’re going to get a racetrack whether we need it or not. Since when do the powers that be ever listen to the folks that are affected by their whims?
Officials, politicians, bureaucrats, city fathers, whatever, they don’t care about anything but what they want to do. They all have the same mind set. It is, we have to improve the economy, we have to create jobs. At what cost? They have screwed up our quality of life to a fare thee well. Did you notice the other day that we couldn’t see the mountains through the smog? No, it wasn’t fog.
A few weeks ago The Herald ran a story about getting an aircraft manufacturer to come to Paine Field. Now it’s a racetrack. Don’t we have enough problems already? Our elected officials cause the problems and then expect taxpayers to pay to fix the problems. In many instances, the problems don’t get fixed.
Let’s fix the problems we have before we cause more. How about the county executive listening to the people impacted by his decisions!?
