Regarding the Saturday article, “Young woman to do hard time in drug death”:
“I’m sorry for your loss.” Brooke James will have one year and one day in prison to rethink that statement to the family of Kyla Helvey. My wish would be that while serving her time she can face the truth for her part in Kyla’s death and say to the family, “I’m sorry for letting your loved one die in front of me when I could have saved her life.”
