My daughters and I would like to thank the generous people who stopped by our Kool Aid for Katrina stand in North Everett over Labor Day Weekend.
And, thank you to The Herald for highlighting the event in the local section of Saturday’s paper. It was a great way for the girls (ages 4 and 6) to learn about helping others in a time of need.
We were excited to deliver the funds raised to the local Red Cross office and we were amazed that in just a few days, our collection can was filled with $501.66! What a blessing that will be to so many who lost everything in the Hurricane.
Together, we can make a difference!
