Regarding the article, “Legislature to adjourn Friday; special session Wednesday”: In almost any other employment, whether one is hired on speculation, election or superior resume, if work is not accomplished by a specified time, one’s job will be a thing of the past. Yet our lawmakers always have the reprieve of a special session at additional cost to the rest of us. Why is their work ethic so lax?
