This past weekend I had the experience of sitting on the picket line for Teamsters Local No. 117. I believe that these people deserve some credit. No matter what your opinion is on this matter, they are at least standing up for what they believe. Too many of us are content to just roll over and take what is handed to us. Our response is often sitting back and complaining. We are sheep.
Throughout my lifetime I have noticed that the people who complain the most and the loudest are the least informed. Before you start making your opinion public why don’t you speak to a union member instead of listening to what is being spun by the media.
At least these people are trying to make their voices heard by doing something…. I applaud them.
