Marysville Senior Friends would like to say thank you to all the area residents who have supported our fundraising events and purchased our cookbooks (which are still available). To date, our efforts have been small but we hope to grow, enabling us to fully accomplish our goal of providing financial help toward making life easier and more enjoyable for the area senior community.
We are a non-profit organization with a primary function of securing funds to assist area senior citizens in everyday life. To date, we have held numerous raffles, sold grab bags at Merrysville for the Holidays, and currently we have a collection of favorite recipes for sale from members and the Ken Baxter Senior Community Center.
Our meetings are held at 2 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Starting in January, we will begin meeting at the Greater Marysville-Tulalip Chamber of Commerce. They will be providing the room at no charge, which will save us the room rental we have paid in the past. Community members are encouraged to attend and, perhaps, join us in an extension of helping hands in our community.
President, Marysville Senior Friends
