Regarding the guest commentary by Mike Sells, “Senate should do right by state workers”: The concern over the state employees’ pay rings hollow. They have a benefit package that is not seen by many these days. And just try to fire one of them for mis-, non- or malfeasance, impossible!
It’s the typical Democrat approach: bigger government. The state is currently enjoying an increase in revenue. However, it’s never enough.
