I’d like to comment about the letter, “Obama the worst president ever,” with its “even worse than Carter” rhetoric. First of all, I would think that most people cannot name all the presidents in the history of America, and what they did, so to say someone is the worst president ever is kind of ludicrous. Can you name every president ever? I can name them back to FDR (who in my opinion was one of the greatest), but it stops there.
I can name George Washington as the first, and I know of Presidents Adams, Jefferson , Lincoln, etc., but I certainly cannot possibly name them all and what they did. Probably some could. … So for example, can you remember what year William McKinley was president and what he did? So to say Obama or anyone is the worst president ever is I think a stretch. I think maybe more accurate would be “worst president in modern times” (which I do not agree with in the case of Mr Obama. I think he is doing an OK job as presidents go.) It would be great if the terminology could be changed to reflect a more accurate idea of what people mean. Thanks.
