Our association with Chuck Wright, who is seeking to serve the citizens of Mill Creek as a candidate for the Mill Creek City Council, originated in September of 1992 at the height of arguably the nation’s, and certainly Snohomish County’s, most prolific serial arsonist’s reign of terror when a multi-agency task force was formed to investigate and successfully apprehend the individual responsible.
As arson investigators who were also serving on this task force, we feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with Chuck Wright during this assignment. Throughout the course of this six-month investigation, Wright willingly volunteered exhaustive hours of stressful work, providing managerial and organizational skills, keen listening ability, dedicated follow-through on assigned tasks and thoroughly demonstrated his ability to work well as a member of a diverse, multi-faceted and extensive team.
Wright’s abilities and dedication personify the leadership qualities, work ethic and commitment to civic responsibility that well served law enforcement, firefighters, and all those affected by this arsonist during this difficult and frightening period. We endorse Chuck Wright, knowing Mill Creek citizens will benefit from his expertise.
