In response to the letter “Panhandlers ruining store” about the QFC on Broadway: Something I have found effective: write or email the Kroger/QFC Corporation and state your grievance. This will be an action on your part that will receive immediate attention.
I’ve shopped at that store, on occasion. It’s always been a somewhat “busy” store. The Kroger/QFC store at that location is substantially important to the community, and therefore, to the corporation.
I feel that a proactive communication to the Kroger/QFC family will be taken seriously and the corporation will, at least, investigate and enjoy positive results on your behalf and other shoppers’. Be sure to include the address and ZIP code of the store when you write.
The Kroger/QFC Corporation will be thankful for the information you provide. Remember, they are huge and sometimes don’t have the capacity to police everything.
Just try it — you may be very pleasantly surprised by their response!
