2008 all-state volleyball teams

Here are the seventh annual all-state volleyball teams, compiled by Rene Ferran of the Tri-City Herald. A panel of sportswriters (including me) from 13 newspapers around the state picked the teams.

Local first-team honorees are Monroe’s Kylin Munoz (4A), Anna Cesari of King’s (1A) and Darrington’s Mandy Powell. King’s coach Steve Bain is the 1A Coach of the Year and Cesari is 1A Player of the Year.

Class 4A
