2009 All-State Volleyball Teams

In case you missed it in The Herald on Tuesday, here are the 2009 all-state volleyball teams. A quick note about how the athletes were selected:

The all-state volleyball teams were compiled by Rene Ferran of the Tri-City Herald using input from prep beat writers around the state. Ferran’s guidelines were: Players were placed on the ballot based upon all-league team selections, as well as all-region picks. Players had to be on at least two ballots to receive honorable mention. MVP and coach of the year were separate ballots.

Class 4A

MVP—Alexis Olgard, MH, Mead.

Coach of the year—Judy Kight, Mead.

First team
