3A, 2A district basketball games postponed once again

Another day, another round of cancellations for the Class 2A and 3A district basketball tournaments.

All 12 contests involving local teams that were scheduled for Monday — six boys games and six girls games — were postponed because of inclement weather. All 12 were rescheduled for Tuesday.

The first round of the 3A girls tournament originally was set for Friday, but was postponed by snow. The 3A boys were supposed to open district play Saturday but also were snowed out.

The 2A boys and girls bi-district tournaments got their first-round games in last week, but the second-round contests, originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday, have now been postponed twice.

Here are the schedules for Tuesday, although more snow is in the forecast.
