Sport(s): Basketball, football

Career: A unique talent on the basketball court, McLain also led the Snohomish football team to a state title. He played football at UW, where he was a two-year starter at linebacker and four-year letterman.

Postscript: McLain played briefly in the United States Football League before his football career came to an end. At last contact, he was living in the Seattle area and selling cars.
