As far as local teams are concerned, it’s all over.
Earlier today, the last two Western Conference teams competing in the 4A tourneys both lost and received seventh-place trophies. The Snohomish girls were defeated by Ballard, 52-44, and the Edmonds-Woodway boys ended their season with a 62-55 loss versus Lincoln.
Katie Benson (20 points, six rebounds, three steals) capped an excellent week with a strong performance against Ballard. The Panthers placed seventh for the second consecutive season.
Remember, the 4A championship games are coming up later tonight.
BOYS: Federal Way vs. Ferris, 7 p.m.
GIRLS: Lewis &Clark vs. Moses Lake, 9 p.m.
