DETROIT – Predictably, Seattle Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander was asked about his future following Sunday’s game.
Predictably, he had few answers.
“I’m not sure of anything,” he said following Seattle’s 21-10 loss to Pittsburgh.
Alexander, who becomes a free agent later this month unless the Seahawks re-sign him before then, did express pride in how far his team has come during his first six years in Seattle.
“We took Seattle to a place we’ve never been before,” he said. “… We did things we should be proud of.”
So does that mean he has some unfinished business in Seattle?
“Where is the Super Bowl next year? Miami?” he asked a group of reporters. “Yeah, Miami’s good. I’ll be back in Miami with the Seahawks if I’m back with the Seahawks next year.”
