Sue Howard of Darrington has been named the Northwest 1A/2B/1B Co-Softball Coach of the Year. She shared the honor with Peg Seeling of La Conner.
Howard led the Loggers to a 10-8 record and a berth in the 2B District 1 Tournament.
Six of Howard’s players earned all-league honors. Kassi Jones, Natasha Wilson and Railynn Ford were named to the first team. Marissa Pennington, Bailey Rumsey and Summer Byson made the second team.
