SPOKANE — Isaac Collins drove in Niko Decolati with a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the Everett AquaSox blew a late lead for the second straight game in a 9-8 loss to the Spokane Indians at Avista Stadium.
Kennie Taylor’s two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning gave the AquaSox an 8-7 lead, but the bullpen couldn’t hold off the Indians in the bottom of the ninth. Daniel Montano led off with a double off Everett reliever Ben Onyshko and was sacrificed to third by Javier Guevara. Bryan Pall relieved Onyshko and promptly gave up a game-tying single to Decolati. Collins then roped a double to right field to plate the game-winning run for Spokane.
The loss was the third straight for the AquaSox and the seventh in nine games to the Indians on the season.
Dariel Gomez went 3-for-4 with a home run, and Connor Hoover, Justin Lavey and Taylor each had two hits for Everett (51-29).
Hunter Stovall, Colton Welker and Kyle Datres all homered in the game for Spokane (40-41).
