EVERETT — Matt Brash allowed no runs on four hits over six innings and the Everett AquaSox earned their sixth win in a row, 2-1, over the Vancouver Canadians on Wednesday evening at Funko Field.
Brash, who struck out three and walked two, lowered his earned-run average to 2.45 on the season. Igor Januario allowed a run on one hit over two innings in relief before Kyle Hill wiggled out of a jam in the ninth inning to earn his fourth save.
Austin Shenton had an RBI groundout in the first inning and Cade Marlowe hit a run-scoring single in the second to give the AquaSox all the offense they needed in the game.
Zach DeLoach went 2-for-4 with a double and a triple, and Kaden Polcovich also had two hits for Everett (31-17).
Rafael Lantigua drove in the only run for Vancouver (26-24) on an RBI groundout in the seventh inning.
