SPOKANE — The Everett AquaSox rebounded from a five-run deficit after one inning to pull even, but faltered late in a 15-7 loss to the Spokane Indians on Friday night.
Trailing 6-1 after the first, Everett evened the game at 7-7 on a Victor Labrada single in the top of the fifth inning. But Spokane plated four runs in both the seventh and eighth innings to pull away for the victory.
Cole Barr went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI, Andy Thomas, Spencer Packard and Alberto Rodriguez had two hits each and Dariel Gomez hit his seventh home run of the season for Everett (17-27).
Daniel Montano and Julio Carreras each homered for Spokane (24-17).
