The Northwest League announced on Thursday that Everett AquaSox general manager Danny Tetzlaff was named the league’s executive of the year.
“This is truly a team effort—this award belongs to the entire AquaSox community,” Tetzlaff said in a release. “My colleagues in the front office, our gameday staff, owners, community partners and amazing fans are what make an AquaSox game at Funko Field fun and memorable for everyone.”
The release mentioned renovations to Everett Memorial Stadium, including a new high-definition videoboard, and his involvement with the naming rights deal with Funko as contributors to Tetzlaff winning the award.
