PASCO — The Tri-City Dust Devils used a pair of three-run innings and held on for a 9-7 win over the Everett AquaSox on a drizzly night at Gesa Stadium.
Trailing 3-1, the Dust Devils scored three runs in the third, three more on the fifth and two in the sixth to earn the victory.
After a short rain delay, the AquaSox rallied for three runs in the ninth inning, but came up just shy of a comeback win.
Noelvi Marte singled and drove in three runs, Cole Barr had a triple and an RBI and Victor Labrada went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored for Everett (11-18).
Mike Peabody had two hits and three RBI, and Kyle Kasser and Francisco Del Valle each had three hits for Tri-City (13-14).
