AquaSox mash 3 home runs in win over Canadians

Everett bounces back from a loss with a 8-4 win over Vancouver.

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Josh Morgan, James Parker and Colin Davis each hit a home run as the Everett AquaSox bounced back from a loss with a 7-4 win over the Vancouver Canadians on Saturday night.

Morgan’s two-run blast came in the third inning as the AquaSox took an early 3-0 lead.

After the Canadians cut the lead to one, Parker launched a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Everett up 4-2.

Leo Jimenez answered with a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning as Vancouver (47-44) pulled even at 4-4.

Morgan plated Alberto Rodriguez on a sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to give the AquaSox a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Davis added some insurance for Everett (47-47) with a two-run blast in the top of the eighth and David Sheaffer padded the lead with an RBI double in the ninth.
