AquaSox pummel Canadians, snap losing skid

Everett returns to the win column with a 14-4 win over Vancouver.

EVERETT — James Parker, Justin Lavey and Trent Tingelstad each drove in four runs, and Logan Rinehart struck out 11 in six solid innings pitched as the Everett AquaSox snapped their six-game losing skid with a rousing 14-4 win over the Vancouver Canadians on Saturday night at Funko Field.

Tingelstad’s three-run triple keyed a six-run first inning as the AquaSox jumped out to a big early lead.

After the Canadians pushed across a pair of runs in the second, Lavey launched a two-run homer to center field to give Everett an 8-2 advantage.

Parker, Lavey, Tingelstad and Cole Barr each drove in a run in the bottom of the fifth as the AquaSox pushed the lead to 12-2.

Parker added a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth to cap the scoring for Everett.

The AquaSox scored 14 runs on just nine hits and drew nine walks in the game.

Rinehart allowed two runs and nine hits and walked one in his quality start for Everett (51-61).

Dasan Brown had three hits for Vancouver (58-51), which struck out 16 times as a team.
