EVERETT — Austin Shenton walked and scored on an RBI fielder’s choice from Jack Larsen as the Everett AquaSox scored twice in the 10th inning to beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 6-5 on Wednesday night at Funko Field.
After the Dust Devils plated a run in the top of the 10th inning, Shenton walked and Cody Grosse singled to score Julio Rodriguez, who started the inning at second base, to even the game at 5-5. Shenton advanced to third on a passed ball and scored on the fielder’s choice to win the game for the AquaSox.
Kaden Polcovich homered and drove in two runs, Shenton doubled twice, and Rodriguez doubled and scored twice for Everett (6-2).
Livan Soto homered and Carlos Herrera had two doubles for Tri-City (3-5).
