PASCO — Blake Hunt hit a run-scoring double in the eighth inning, leading the Tri-City Dust Devils to a 6-4 win over the Everett AquaSox on Friday.
Diomar Lopez struck out Jansiel Rivera with a runner on first to end the game for his first save of the season.
The double by Hunt, part of a two-run inning, gave the Dust Devils a 5-4 lead before Hunt scored on a double play later in the inning.
Tucupita Marcano hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Xavier Edwards in the first inning to give the Dust Devils a 1-0 lead. The AquaSox came back to take the lead in the second inning when they put up three runs, including a single by Josh Stowers that scored Geoandry Montilla.
Tri-City tied the game 4-4 in the third when Justin Paulsen scored on a pickoff error.
Michael Curry singled three times for Tri-City.
Jonathan Guzman (2-1) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief while J.T. Salter (0-1) took the loss.
Tri-City improved to 5-2 against Everett this season. The AquaSox have lost five of their past six games.
