Starting pitchers: Everett left-hander Travis Blackley (3-0, 3.42) vs. left-hander Adam Wynegar (2-1, 2.97).

Injury update: The extent of John Cole’s knee injury isn’t totally known yet, but the news isn’t good. At best Cole has a hyper-extended knee and will miss two to three weeks. However, if it turns out there is any tendon damage in his knee, Cole will likely miss the remainder of the season. Meanwhile, infielder Blake Woods has returned to the AquaSox from San Bernadino. He rejoined the team Thursday in Boise.
