Softball

Jordan Birch of Monroe pitched a two-hit shuout in the Bearcats’ 2-0 win over Lake Stevens in the 4A District 1 title game. She also pitched a one-hit shutout in a 1-0 semifinal win over Stanwood and a one-hit shutout in a 1-0 quarterfinal win over Shorewood.

Baseball

Chase Anselment of Meadowdale batted 3-for-3 with two doubles, including a two-run double in the fifth inning of a 3-0 3A state quarterfinal win over Franklin Pierce. He also struck out four batters in two innings of relief to earn a save.

Girls tennis

Nikki Dutton and Mallory Good of Everett won the 3A District 1 doubles championship.

Boys track

J Hopkins of Everett won both hurdles races and ran legs for two winning relay teams in leading Everett to the 3A District 1 championship. His time of 38.13 seconds in the 300 hurdles was a personal best and the top time in the state this season by a 3A hurdler.

Girls track

Jessica Yates of Snohomish broke her own meet record with a leap of 38 feet, 3.5 inches in the triple jump and finished third in the high jump and long jump to lead Snohomish to the team title in the 4A District 1 meet.

Boys soccer

Jeff Gosslee of Cascade assisted on Tyler Wilkins’ game-winning goal in a 1-0 4A state quarterfinal win over Bellarmine Prep and scored two goals in a 3-0 first-round win over Mountain View.

Boys golf

Cameron Zwaller of Archbishop Murphy shot a two-round score of 5-over-par 149 over 36 holes at the Snohomish Golf Course to win the 2A District 1 championship.

Girls golf

Maggie Burton of Everett shot two-round score of 14-over-par 154 over 36 holes at the Lynnwood Municipal Golf Course to win the 3A District 1 championship.
