Girls bowling

Breanne Mattson of Cascade rolled a 224 final game and a 645 series to lead the Bruins to victory in the District 3 meet and a 4A state meet berth. Mattson was named the tournament’s most valuable bowler.

Boys swimming

Eric Pedack of Snohomish swam a state meet qualifying time of 55.63 seconds in winning the 100-yard butterfly and swam a leg for the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams, each of which posted state times in a 112.5-73.5 win over Kamiak.

Boys diving

Brandon Kilpatrick of Snohomish set a school record with a six-dive score of 231.50 in a 112.5-73.5 win over Kamiak.

Wrestling

Don Tiongco of Mariner registered a pin at 119 pounds to put the Marauders ahead for good in a 37-22 victory over Kamiak. Tiongco’s triumph started a streak of five straight bout wins for Mariner as it claimed the Wesco South dual-meet championship.

Girls basketball

Bianca Rowland of King’s scored 19 of her game-high 28 points in the second half of a 59-33 win over Granite Falls. She scored 10 points in an 18-2 fourth-quarter run.

Boys basketball

Jamie Eisinger of Jackson scored 24 of his game-high 30 points in the second half of a 70-63 loss to Shorecrest. He scored 19 points and grabbed eight reounds in a 63-46 win over Lynnwood. And he had a game-high 21 points in a 58-49 loss to Meadowdale.
